Quick Joomla Tip - An iPhone/iPod icon for your site.
Wednesday, 20 January 2010 00:00
This is one of the most simple tips I've ever seen for Joomla.
If you have a Joomla site, and want your cool logo available as an icon for your iPhone's home page - just follow these really simple directions. (or we can do it for you...) - http://www.alan-horne.com/blog/6-blog/7-create-an-iphone-bookmark-for-joomla.
If you've got an iPhone and don't know how to put a bookmark on your iPhone's home page - just do this:
- Browse to this site on your iPhone.
- Click the + sign at the bottom of the screen and press Add to Home Screen
- That's it! Go to your home screen - and the icon will be in the first available spot.

Merry Christmas and Thank You
Tuesday, 22 December 2009 00:00

As we come to this holiday season, we recognize that while it has been a difficult year for many, we are truly blessed none-the-less. We would like to take a moment to say thank you for your friendship, business and continued trust in us.
While 2009 was a great year, we're anticipating that 2010 will be even better. We're rolling out some new tools early in the year to help you with your sites, we're just completing a 50 lesson online tutorial for Joomla and lots more (details to come in the new year)...
But for now, THANK YOU, and we wish you a prosperous and happy New Year.

Personal Blog - The Dragon's Tail
Saturday, 20 June 2009 08:57
On Friday, June 19, I rode my '84 Goldwing down to Atlanta for a meeting with Steve Burge from JoomlaTraining.com. I am doing Joomla training with them in Cincinnati, Denver, New York and Toronto in the fall.
I decided, more at the last minute, to take Hwy 129 down from Knoxville on my way to Atlanta. It adds a bunch of time, but I was hoping it would be fun. What I didn't realize, was that the route I chose was the world famous Dragon's Tail (http://www.tailofthedragon.com/ - retailer nearby). 318 curves in 11 miles... insane!!!
Here's the video I shot - about 2/3 of it... lots of fun... only one close call :)
