Merry Christmas and Thank You

Merry_Christmas_and_Thank_You.1
As we come to this holiday season, we recognize that while it has been a difficult year for many, we are truly blessed none-the-less. We would like to take a moment to say thank you for your friendship, business and continued trust in us.

While 2009 was a great year, we're anticipating that 2010 will be even better. We're rolling out some new tools early in the year to help you with your sites, we're just completing a 50 lesson online tutorial for Joomla and lots more (details to come in the new year)...

But for now, THANK YOU, and we wish you a prosperous and happy New Year.

A Christmas Tradition...

Growing up in Australia and Canada, the day after Christmas is called "Boxing Day". The tradition originated in England, where the day after Christmas was the servant's day off, and they were given small gifts and left over food by their wealthy employers, so they could go home and have "Christmas" with their families. These treats were boxed up and give to each servant.

For our family, Boxing Day was the day that we would open our home to neighbors and friends for an "open house" with goodies and treats and all that yummy "stuff". At some point in the afternoon, we would read the Christmas story from the Bible, and talk about the true meaning of the holiday - the birth of Jesus, our Savior.

When we moved to the States, all we got was blank looks when we mentioned Boxing Day. Our "tradition" never really worked down here... so we've started a new one.

Traditions are good... they keep us connected. Whatever your tradition... I would encourage you to take time to be thankful this Christmas season... and perhaps, reflect on why we have Christmas in the first place. While its not politically correct (and whoever said I was!) - Merry Christmas and God bless you this holiday season.
